THE HISTORY OF BRAG VINTAGE - THE UK'S PREMIER ONLINE VINTAGE & RETRO CLOTHING STORE

EARLY BEGINNINGS

Founded in 2011, the idea for Brag Vintage was born in the fields of Old Cotes carboot sale in Nottinghamshire by the two Dye brothers, Gareth and Ashley. After coming across a stall selling some old 90's football shirts and then quickly turning them into a profit online they saw an opportunity to create this family run business which has rapidly grown into the operation it is today.

The idea behind the brand was to provide unique, one-off and hard to find items at an affordable price to their online customers. They didn't believe their customers should have to pay high prices for good quality clothing. And there was the added “green” benefit to vintage clothing, essentially recycling old clothing, which the brothers felt strongly about.

After their initial start selling classic football shirts. They soon moved on to sourcing a much wider range of products from the around the world, including the USA, Germany and the Netherlands, to provide to their newly found customers. The company began specialising in branded vintage denim and specifically Levi's, Lee and Wrangler jeans, denim jackets, denim shirts and cut-off denim shorts. It quickly became the UK's leading online stockist of vintage jeans and other denim products for men and women.

EXPANSION

In 2017 after rapidly expanding, the company moved into a new 2500 sq ft warehouse and Brag continued to be an expert in vintage denim with years of experience selling, dating, and grading Levi's jeans as well as many other brands and various vintage garments. In additon to being a specialist in denim, Brag Vintage now offers an extensive stock of 80's and 90's sportswear, knitwear, t-shirts and casual clothing including brands such as Adidas, Nike, Champion, Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren.

TODAY

As of 2018, the Dye brothers have managed to turn Brag into one of the UK's biggest vintage and retro clothing companies as it expands into new and exciting markets abroad and at home and they continue to consistently add new brands and product lines for their customers on a daily basis. Today the company remains a market leader in the vintage clothing sector.
